NAMSR: NEWS- FDA Clears first ever diagnostic test for AKI

The FDA has cleared the first ever diagnostic for acute kidney injury (AKI) today, Astute Medical announced. A recent study found that hospitalized patients who got AKI had a 30% mortality rate at one year and 60% chance of a heart attack.
